Payment Method FAQ’s

At GRMC, we make every effort to provide care for as many people as possible in the communities we serve. We work tirelessly to help patients to find a plan that fits their budget.

We’ve collected some of our most frequently asked questions and their answers below.

  • Yes! Green River Medical Center can help you with that. Our Certified Application Counselor, Heidi Quintana is here for you. Come into our office to receive free, in-person assistance. We can help you find out if you qualify for help paying for health insurance.

    Please make an appointment by calling our office at (435) 564-3434.

  • There are many ways to get coverage:

    1. Visit HealthCare.gov to apply and enroll on the web. This is the fastest way to get covered.

    2. Call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596. TTY users should call 1-855-889-4325. A customer service representative will help you apply and enroll.

    3. Fill out and mail in a paper application (click here to download). You will get eligibility results in the mail within 2 weeks.

  • Most private insurance policies are accepted at GRMC. If your private insurance is not listed below, please ask if we accept your insurance at the time you make an appointment.

    • Utah Medicaid (including Emergency Medicaid)

    • Utah Chip

    • Educators Mutual

    • Medicare

    • PCN

    • PEHP Plans

    • Select Health Plans (IHC)

    • BCBS Plans

  • Payment of co-pays and certain other fees are expected at time of service. Uninsured patients are also expected to pay appropriate co-pays at time of service.

    GRMC accepts:

    • cash

    • credit/debit cards

    • a personal check from a local bank

    • various forms of insurance

  • GRMC offers a sliding fee schedule to discount the cost of medical, dental care, or behavioral health for those patients with incomes below 200 percent of the federal poverty line. All eligible patients who apply for this discount program must provide proof of income. Patients are expected to pay appropriate co-pays at time of service.

  • Applications for the Discount Program are available at the Green River Medical Center. You may complete an application at any time; however, your application must be present at the time of service in order to receive the discount. You will be responsible for the full fees associated with your visit prior to approval.

  • Patients must bring proof of income for EACH member of the household who is included on the application. You will not be approved for this discount without proof of income. You must re-apply for the discount program each year or sooner if your household income or family size changes.

Patient Portal FAQ’s

The Patient Portal and the Healow mobile are secure, convenient, and easy ways to digitally access your health information.

  • Access to our Portal and the healow app are completely free. We share this information with our patients to give them access to their health records and help them make better healthcare decisions.

  • Here’s what you can do:

    • Communicate with your provider

    • Arrange and manage appointments and Televisits

    • Get reminders

    • Access your test results

    • View your medications and request refills

  • It is a safe and secure way to connect to your doctor remotely via a video call from your phone, tablet or computer.

  • The app and our Portal allow you to reset your username and/or password. You can also call the front desk at (435) 564-3434 and we can reset the username and/or password for you.

    1. Download the healow™ app from App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android Phone) or click here to login on a computer.

    2. Search our practice by entering our practice code: EBICAD.

    3. Enter your portal username and password to login.

    4. Set up your PIN to securely access your health records.

  • Healow™ is free and available on the Apple app store and Google Play store.

  • If you are a new patient register by clicking here. Established patients can call our office at (435) 564-3434 to get your login credentials.

  • Yes, the information is completely secure. It is protected with a username and password / PIN number of your choice and through SSL encryption.
